      from all stain of original sin,<l/>
      so that in her, endowed with the rich fullness of your grace,<l/>
      you might prepare a worthy Mother for your Son<l/>
      and signify the beginning of the Church,<l/>
      his beautiful Bride without spot or wrinkle.<l/>
      She, the most pure Virgin, was to bring forth a Son,<l/>
      the innocent Lamb who would wipe away our offenses;<l/>
      you placed her above all others<l/>
      to be for your people an advocate of grace<l/>
      and a model of holiness.

      we praise you, and with joy we proclaim:
